Therefore, size and weight of the case are adjusted automatically through an optimization study to minimize the distance of the centre of gravity from the centreline of the base and lamp pole.

The animation shows the motion of the lamp and procides the designer a clearer understanding of how that motion affects the position of the centre of gravity of the assembly.
