Node-Locked Licensing

Node-locked licenses can be installed on a server or a workstation. Node-locked licenses are locked to individual users on a network. Each node-locked license on active maintenance entitles you to an additional home use license. Assigned users of each node-locked license can use the home use license on a personal laptop or desktop.

Floating Network Licensing

Floating network licenses are installed on a server. This allows access across a local area or wide area network. All PC's on the network have access to Mathcad. The number of PC's running Mathcad concurrently is limited by the number of floating licenses installed on the license server. Two additional home use licenses are available for each floating network license on active maintenance. The home-use licenses can be used on a personal laptop or desktop. Floating licenses can be borrowed from the license pool to enable use without being connected to the license server.
